Mrs. Ramirez's Class
Welcome Back to School.
The first month of school has flown by and we have accomplished so much already.
Reading
We have read four stories in our Scott Foresman Reading Streets series. We have also completed our first novel, Be a Perfect Person in Just Three Days. The class has just started a new novel, Fantastic Mr. Fox.
Math
In Math we have completed our first unit on place value, rounding and a review of addition and subtraction. We have now started unit 2 on Multiplication. Make sure to be practicing those math facts.
Science
Both classes have completed unit 1 on Science and Technology. Our next unit is Patterns of Living Things. We will be discussing classifying, growth patterns, cells and microscopes.
